Letter from Principal

Welcome to St. Martha School, the school you can trust to give your child an excellent education in a faith-filled and nurturing environment. As you walk through our halls and listen to the caring, joyful voices of our students and teachers, you will find that the love of Jesus Christ is at the center of our daily life and interactions.

With students in preschool through 8th grade, St. Martha School provides a safe and dynamic Catholic environment where your child can excel in his or her faith and academic journey.

Our challenging educational experiences foster success, promote unity and empower our students to live the Gospel message. In addition to our outstanding educational curriculum, we have a 200-day school year, a strong focus on music and drama, including several dramatic productions each year, and classes in vocals, band and orchestra.

We look forward to helping your child grow in our enriching and faith-filled school. If you are looking for an excellent education in a family atmosphere, call us today.

Mission

In a loving, nurturing, Christ-like environment, St. Martha School guides each student to develop his or her unique ability and potential through prayer, study and service.

Academics

The excellent education students receive at St. Martha begins with our award-winning master teachers. With small class sizes, our highly qualified and certified teachers are able to give individual attention to each child and challenge and guide them. Students are fully prepared to attend high school once they leave St. Martha School, and many of our students have gone on to become the top members of their graduating high school classes. We have a history of St. Martha students who have become National Merit Scholars and other noteworthy achievements.

Fully accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools, along with our core program of math, reading, writing, science and social studies, we offer personal choices in Spanish, vocals, band and orchestra.

Faith

St. Martha School provides a Catholic education based on Gospel values and service to the community. All grades actively participate in a weekly student-led Mass and receive an in-depth study of their faith and sacramental preparation. Students also have many opportunities to serve their community with regular visits to local food banks, care facilities and nursing homes.

Enrichment

From violins to volleyball, students at St. Martha have many opportunities to explore their interests inside and outside of the classroom. Our outstanding selection of enrichment activities includes Science Olympiad, Math Counts, CHAMPS, orchestra/violin, band, drama, choir and visual arts. We also have several competitive sports teams in soccer, basketball, volleyball and baseball.

Parents always are welcome and encouraged to participate at St. Martha School. We are blessed with an engaged, talented and supportive parent community.

If you are interested in a Catholic education for your child but are concerned about the cost, please come talk to us. We offer multi-child discounts, financial aid and scholarships, and other programs designed to help make our school affordable for your family.
