Holy Rosary School

Letter from Principal

Imagine a place where your child begins and ends their day in prayer with their teacher and fellow students, attends weekly Mass, and is recognized and respected as a unique individual reflecting the image of God. If you are looking for something different for your child’s educational experience, look to Holy Rosary Catholic School, where we offer a rigorous curriculum in a close-knit, safe and nurturing environment for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. For more than 60 years, we have been serving families by providing excellent academic standards and faith-based character formation founded on Catholic Christian virtues.

Our teachers are dedicated and our class sizes are small. We have high expectations and a challenging curriculum that result not only in outstanding test scores, but well-rounded children capable of success in all areas of their lives.

Most importantly, however, we strive to partner with parents to ensure that each of our students develops a personal relationship with God and to respond to the universal call of holiness. At Holy Rosary, you can be assured that not only will your child be given the tools and knowledge to succeed, but also that he or she will experience Christ’s love on a daily basis. We pair older students with younger ones and they form prayer partners. The older students watch over the younger ones with a great sense of community and fellowship.

Mission

Holy Rosary Catholic School is centered in the Eucharist and our community is encouraged to bring Christ's presence to everyone we meet. We follow Jesus' example through prayer, love, service, and using our talents in the pursuit of academic excellence with a deep love for learning.

Philosophy

Be it known to all who enter here … that Christ is the reason for this school: The unseen but ever present teacher in its classes, the model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students.

School

Academics

Holy Rosary School provides a stimulating academic environment for students at every level. Fully accredited by the Michigan Non-Public School Accrediting Association, we offer low student-teacher ratios, a challenging curriculum and highly-qualified and dedicated teachers who empower students to reach their full potential while recognizing individual differences in learning.

Students who graduate from our school are fully prepared for success in high school and beyond. In addition to our core curriculum of English, math, reading, religion, science and social studies, we offer art, music, physical education, Spanish and technology. Our goal is to help students become lifelong learners by providing experiences that encourage them to search for the truth, use their imagination, think critically and independently, exercise right judgment, and use their gifts and talents in service to others.

School

Faith

Rooted in the teachings of Jesus,  Holy Rosary School exists to help parents in the formation of their children according to Catholic Christian principles. We are committed to transmitting our Catholic heritage to all students and enabling them to experience the Gospel in daily life.

In addition to daily prayer and weekly celebration of Mass, we have monthly all-school rosary and eucharistic adoration and benediction. We offer our students extensive religious education that fosters faith and moral development. Students can further express their faith in their daily life through a variety of Christian service projects.
